Sam joined Wild Frontier Ecology in June 2022 and is trained to conduct ecological appraisals and UK Habitat surveys. He has also produced a number of Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments.
Prior to working at Wild Frontier Ecology, Sam obtained a diverse range of practical conservation, research experience and data analysis skill through his MSc in Applied Ecology and Conservation. He is skilled in the use of QGIS and is proficient in two coding languages including R and Python. In addition, he is also skilled in report writing including ecological site appraisals and feasibility studies.
Sam is currently developing botanical and habitat management skills and has undertaken National Vegetation Classification surveys for a range of conservation projects.
