Josh joined WFE in April 2023 whilst studying for his MSc in Applied Ecology and Conservation. He has a broad background in zoological research and communication, and a keen interest in mammals and invertebrates.
Josh is trained in ecological impact assessment methods such as UK Habitat surveys and is proficient in project management and report writing in a range of formats. Since joining WFE, Josh has swiftly developed skill in conducting and assisting with surveys for protected species, such as bats, great crested newts, reptiles and water voles. Josh is currently training to obtain his ‘Level 1’ bat survey licence.
